On three front-lines
Patient avatars express a need for assistance, they move, suffer, hesitate, speak. The relationship with the avatar is interactive, it contributes to the quality of the immersion, to the power of the experience.
The frozen images of objects or animated gestures are consistent with the medical reality, and of great precision.
Anamnesis consists of asking questions to retrace the patient’s medical history and the history of his or her pathology. Using the conversational engine, answers to written questions are spoken.
The physiological engine informs the user about the state of the patient. It allows the user to assess the quality and relevance of his or her decisions, and to monitor their consistency.
The simulator alerts, cautions, warns, if the user goes astray prematurely.
A debriefing gives a feedback on the conformity of the actions taken and the decisions made throughout the patient’s care. It gives rise to reflection.
From the ergonomics of the simulator to the economy of the effort. The ease of use optimises training. Less effort, more effect.
