In partnership with a team from Columbia University (New York), Medusims published a numerical medical simulator concerning carrying out emergency general anaesthesia within the context of umbilical cord prolapse. This simulator was completed under the framework of a research project concerning the educational effectiveness of numerical medical simulation.

 

Description

You are an anaesthetist. A woman giving birth is brought into the emergency room due to umbilical cord prolapse. The gynaecologist holds the baby’s head, and you have to carry out emergency general anaesthesia so that he can carry out a caesarian.
